Zip Zip Aray provided David Jolly and Brian Park with their first Gr.1 success in nabbing a brave Libidinious close to the post. Two months earlier Jolly told the breeder/owners, Wayne and Jenny Francis and brother-in-law Ray Borda, that although green, their three-year-old was the best horse through his hands. ìBut to win a Goodwood is amazingî, he said. The winner of the 117th Goodwood - and eighth of his age in the past 30 years - paved the way for a home track win by scraping into the field with his fast finishing third behind Troubles and The Big Chill in the Angas Brut-Gr.2 seven days earlier.

From beyond midfield at the turn, he advanced the Mr Prospector cause where Tully Thunder could not quite manage it in the Oaks. He is a son of the former Arrowfield based Bellotto, who has been rostered at South Australia's Lakewood Stud since 1996. The Alan Bailey prepared four-year-old mare Libidinious attempted to lead throughout, an extremely rare feat in the famous Morphettville sprint. Three year-old filly, Big Chill charged home to take third.
